Holding a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in English and Political Science, a Diploma in Communications, Performance and Media and a Certificate in Public Administrative Discipline from Memorial University, Joshua Jamieson combines creativity, intuition and marketing chops guiding the production and marketing direction for his clients in his role at DRAY Media, located in St. John’s, NL.  His strategic thinking has lead to expert exporting plans, flawless product development and an instinct for knowing a winning marketing strategy from the get go.  Joshua has also developed media campaigns to promote various initiatives undertaken by businesses and non-profit organizations, including the AIDS Committee of Newfoundland and Labrador.  As a published author (The Teenage Years… Mapped – Jesperson Publishing) and columnist as well as occasional co-editor for St. John’s metro-trend newspaper Current, his creativity enhances his marketing prowess.

Joshua has gained his experience over years clocked within the media industry in radio and television before moving into print.  Initially starting at CBC Radio (Newfoundland) Joshua worked with other youth on a show called New Voices, eventually becoming the host of a National CBC special called First Call.  Up next came CBC Television for six months to round out the four and a half years before a jump to private broadcasting with Steele Communications.  There Joshua was the Producer, Music Director and Host of a number one Saturday afternoon program called Fresh Focus on Radio Newfoundland (CJYQ 930am).  Also at Steele, he was the operations producer for the HitsFM (CKIX 99.1FM) live broadcast from Benders on George every Saturday night.  In June 2006 after doing the shows for almost five years they came to a close and led the way to DRAY and Current!

Also in the mix is a film and theatre production company of which Joshua is the Artistic Director, mOxY Productions.  With two professional stage productions to its credit (Poor Super Man and Rope) as well as a few short films, the company is now focused on producing a full length feature documentary under the working title of Just Himself for 2009.
